PIR Gold Coast recognise and understand the ongoing mental health issues, disorders and needs faced by Gold Coast residents living with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder and PTSD, along with addiction, homelessness, financial stress and suicide.

PIR Gold Coast are also advocates for system change, actively seeking to identify gaps and barriers in mental health services across the Gold Coast, and work collaboratively to build a more flexible and integrated system for you, your family, friends and carers.

Gold Coast PIR Evaluation Report 2016
This report address three key evaluation questions:

  1. To what extent has the PIR initiative been an effective approach for people with severe and persistent mental illness who have complex multi-agency support needs?
  2. To what extent has the PIR initiative improved the system of care available to people with severe and persistent mental illness who have complex multi-agency support needs?
  3. What are the critical elements that support effective implementation of PIR and the barriers and challenges which hinder effective implementation?
