NDIS Queensland Roll Out

The roll out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will commence on the Gold Coast from 1 July 2018. Partners in Recovery Gold Coast have been working with a large number of participants to get their NDIS access applications ready over the last six months.

Did you know that as at 31 March 2018, 14,612 people in Queensland are receiving benefits from the NDIS. Out of those people, 4,130 people are receiving these supports for the first time in their life! The NDIS has committed $1.3b to participant supports to date, this includes $45.2m in assistive technology for Queensland participants.
