With the Gold Coast set to have the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) roll out from July 1, information sessions are starting to increase to ensure GPs and Allied Health Professionals have all the facts available.
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will be holding service provide specific information sessions in June on NDIS Payment Integrity Provider Awareness. This session is specifically targeted towards registered providers and their board members, management and team leader staff who are engaged in managing or supervising delivery of services to participants and back of house staff who are engaged in finance, audit, compliance, quality, or complaints management roles. Support Coordinators and Plan Managers are also encouraged to attend. All other information sessions can be viewed via the online NDIS events calendar or by searching HealthyGC events.
