Gold Coast regional plan to improve our mental health, suicide prevention and alcohol & other drugs system

During the next few months, there will be opportunities for community members and service providers to play an important role in shaping a regional plan, to improve the integration in mental health, alcohol and other drug and suicide prevention services on the Gold Coast.

Gold Coast Primary Health Network and Gold Coast Health are developing the plan in partnership with people with lived experience, service providers and the broader community.

The plan’s development will build on previous consultation already held across the sector including an initial regional plan workshop conducted last year.

The next step includes establishing a governance structure to guide further development of the plan to lay the groundwork for collaborative action and to identify key pieces of work to improve outcomes with existing resources.
