Gold Coast Hospital Foundation improving health outcomes for patients

The Gold Coast Hospital (GCH) Foundation raises money to help relieve distress and hardship for patients and their families who are affected by illness and serious injury through our support services.

They improve health outcomes for patients by:

  • Delivering two vital support services – the Cancer Patient Transport Service and Emergency Accommodation Service
  • Purchasing medical equipment that adds value to existing resources and providing facility enhancement projects
  • Funding hospital and health service-led research, and nursing and midwifery scholarships.

The Foundation supports patients and families from Gold Coast University and Robina Hospitals, as well as more than 30 community-based Gold Coast Health services. GCH Foundation also support Gold Coast Health staff who are undertaking research or who want to develop their professional skills and knowledge through further education and training.

The impact from projects and patient support services delivered by the Foundation reaches more than 150,000 child and adult patients and their families each year.

The Foundation receives no government subsidy and work with valued supporters, corporate partners and the Gold Coast community to raise crucial funds through donations, events, appeals, bequests, regular giving and other fundraising activities.
