PIR is a consortia made up of the following service providers:

The Partners in Recovery program provides specialist facilitators skilled in working with people who speak a language other than English or identify with another culture or ethnicity.

Our facilitators have expertise in providing support to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) individuals to achieve their recovery goals through advocacy, linkage and understanding while also supporting their individual cultural or language needs.

We have two facilitators employed by Krurungal and two facilitators employed by Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast Ltd (MCCGC).

Krurungal Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Corporation

Krurungal’s mission is to provide for the health, welfare and protection of the Gold Coast Indigenous Community for fostering traditional and cultural healing to address the needs, concerns and requirements of the Community over the short, medium and long term. Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast Ltd

MCCGC is the peak regional council for SE Qld serving the needs of the CALD community. With more than 30 years’ experience, MCCGC is well known and regarded for its role in helping people connect with their local community and by providing health advocacy and well-being services.

MCCGC provides services to mainstream and CALD communities across the Aged, Disability and Community service sectors through CURA and Simply Caring Australia.
